Look at these two hot girls, getting some sun and getting wet!
William's fish that he thought he caught, this was a priceless day.

After a little rain.

We got a fire started and had some marshmallows.

It's always a great time with Bumpa around.

This past weekend was our family campout, my parents have been doing this for 41yrs. They have been to the same camp ground all but 3yrs due to the Rodeo/Chetisky Fire. Camping with kids is not easy, I really don't know how my parents did it for a week with 6 kids. We were changing William and Annie's clothes at least twice a day. The weather was beautiful till it would rain so much you wanted to pack up and leave. I enjoyed watching the kids play in the creek and in the forest. William and his dad tried fishing, with some luck from Uncle Kyle William thought he got a fish and was happy as a clam!

4th of July

Went to Mimi's house for 4th of July celebration. Since it was on Sunday we just watched fireworks from our ward building and some from our backyard. Took a swim and ate some yummy mexican food with my brother and his family along with Mimi and Bumpa.
I remember growing up and our family along with the two other families would go to a 4th of July celebration. I can't remember where it was but we always had such a great time. I hope that in the future my family can celebrate 4th of July in a way that my children would remember, when they look back on their life.

What a Weekend!

We went to Eagar this past weekend to visit with Steve's parents and sisters. Some relatives from Tennesse were also coming to visit and Steve hadn't seen them for over 20yrs. Just after we arrived we heard a loud explosion: A plane had crashed into the High School and Steve with William drove to the high school. Steve's grandma's house is only a couple blocks away so we were really close.
The weather was windy and cold while we were there but we did enjoy visiting with Grandma and Grandpa. We took a couple drives to some of the lakes and other places so that the kids could get away but William's favorite place to be was in the backyard where there is a horse pasture. He spent hours back there talking and feeding the horses.
William also likes to ride the Quad with his dad and Aunt Jeri, while out on the quad they got stopped by a police because William didn't have a helmet. The policeman said that if someone came and picked up William they wouldn't give Aunt Jeri a ticket. Steve went and got William and I was hoping it would scare him, but he thought it was awesome.
I am so glad that we have an opportunity to get out of the heat once and awhile, even though it wasn't that hot in the valley we had a nice time.

Girls Day, ALL Day

So every year around Mothers day we have a Sorrority Sister Retreat. All the girls that I have kept in contact from Mesa Community College Institute Lambda Delta Sigma have a day together. Years past we have slept in a hotel, but these last couple of years we have been doing a full day of Fun! We started out with a movie (Letters to Juliet) great movie. We had lunch, pedi, shopping and dinner. We ended the night with talking, laughing, crying and just about wetting my pants. I feel so refreshed when I come home even though it was 2am but I love to get together with them. We have all been through so much and there is no judgement. I love my LDS ladies. Of course I forgot to get out my camera but that's ok, I have a brainfull of funny and exciting memories to last me awhile.

Everyday is Mothers Day

What more can you ask for? Every day is Mothers day! Even though yes a mother does most, she does recieve the best rewards daily. What more can you want then a Mom your the best, YOU are my favorite MOM! Huge amounts of hugs and kisses and so much more. I love being William and Annie's mom, yes sometimes it's difficult not a day goes by that I say to my own mother " How did you do it with 6? I only have two and I want to run away" I admit that it's really the hardest job but I won't and could never give my two weeks notice because of what joy they bring into my life. I appreciate all that they teach me on a daily basis but I had the greatest training by a proffesional, some may know her as Brenda but we know her as MIMI. I couldn't ask for a better mother and friend. She truly is my best friend in so many ways. I don't care how much money my husband was offered to move I could never leave my Mother.

My little Annie

Happy Birtday to my little Annie. She is Two and was born 4/8/2008 at 2:22am, weighing in at a hefty 3lbs 5oz, oh yes that little girl is one giant of a girl now. I can't imagine my life without this little spitfire. She keeps me going and alert. There is nothing better than being her mom. She is starting to turn into such a girlie, she will wear bows on a regular basis and she loves dresses and shoes. She enjoys playing with her big brother and loves him so much. We celebrated her birthday at Mimi's house on Sunday with some cupcakes and yummy lemon cake. She got a tricycle and helmet from Steve and I. Mimi got her clothes, ball and shoes. Her Grandma and Grandpa Nelson gave her a card and some money. She is one special little girl and I can't wait to see what this year brings.

Spring Break

Our first family trip to California. We were all so excited to go, especially William. It is the best feeling to see your children enjoying themselves. They were so happy in Disneyland. William walked and walked but never complained. We went with my Mom,Dad. Heather, Kelsey, Zach. Brittney, Brooke and Gage. We had a blast with each other. We stopped at the beach on Saturday on the way home to show them where we used to stay as a family for Spring Break and the kids got in the water. They were in heaven, even though the water was cold. As a Mom this was the greatest experience with my children. This is a memory I hope to never forget.
